Welcome to Skin Empire, a League of Legends custom skin community that shares and promotes custom skins, maps, mods, art, and videos. By accessing or using our website, you (the “User”) agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms”). Please read these Terms carefully, as they govern your use of Skin Empire and its associated services. These Terms may be updated from time to time, and continued use of the website signifies your acceptance of any updates.

Skin Empire was created under Riot Games’ “Legal Jibber Jabber” policy using assets owned by Riot Games. Riot Games does not endorse or sponsor this project.

1. Ownership and Attribution

1.1. The ownership of all custom skins, maps, mods, art, and videos belongs to their respective creators (the “Creators”).

1.2. Content published by Skin Empire that is created by Skin Empire itself (“Skin Empire Content”), including promotional material, posts, images, and videos, remains the exclusive property of Skin Empire.

1.3. Users are required to credit both the Content’s Creator and Skin Empire when using Content from this website, including providing a proper link to the relevant post on Skin Empire.

2. User-Generated Content

2.1. By publishing your posts, custom skins, maps, mods, art, or videos (“User-Generated Content”) to Skin Empire, you grant Skin Empire the right to:

  • Use your content to create promotional material.
  • Publish such promotional material on the Skin Empire website, across its social media platforms, and on our other associated websites dedicated to custom skins.

2.2. You retain the right to request the removal of your User-Generated Content from Skin Empire at any time. However, any promotional material already created by Skin Empire using your content will remain published and owned by Skin Empire.

3. User License and Restrictions

3.1. Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, and revocable license to download and use Content from Skin Empire for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

3.2. Redistribution or redistribution through download links of any Content obtained from Skin Empire is strictly prohibited without explicit permission from the Creator and Skin Empire.

3.3. Users may use custom skins, maps, and mods from Skin Empire to create content, such as videos or streams, provided that:

  • Proper credit is given to the Content’s Creator.
  • A link to the relevant post on Skin Empire is included in the description or credits.

3.4. Users may not publish the downloaded Content to their own platforms without explicit consent from its Creator.

4. Reward Program

4.1. Skin Empire offers a reward program for Users who publish their User-Generated Content on the website.

4.2. If the reward program is discontinued, Users will be notified at least 90 days in advance. Any accumulated points will remain valid until the end of this notice period.

5. Liability Disclaimer

5.1. Skin Empire does not take responsibility for any defects, bugs, or damages caused by the use of custom skins, maps, mods, or other Content downloaded from the website. All Content is provided “AS IS” and remains in the “use at your own risk” category.

5.2. Skin Empire does not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or functionality of any User-Generated Content.

6. Prohibited Activities

6.1. Users must not use the website or its Content for any unlawful or unauthorized purposes.

6.2. Users must not distribute, modify, or sell Content from Skin Empire without explicit permission from the Creator and Skin Empire.

7. Privacy Policy

7.1. Users are strongly encouraged to review the Privacy Policy page to understand how Skin Empire collects, uses, and protects personal data. The Privacy Policy forms an integral part of these Terms and Conditions.
